Welcome to FarmFlow DE

Making local sourcing simple for farms and wholesale buyers.

What is FarmFlow DE?

Delaware's Marketplace for Surplus Produce FarmFlow DE is building a more connected local food system by making it easier for Delaware farms to sell surplus produce directly to wholesale buyers. Every season, perfectly good fruits and vegetables go unsold because of cosmetic imperfections, shifting demand, or limited market opportunities. At the same time, restaurants, food manufacturers, schools, retailers, and other wholesale buyers are looking for reliable sources of fresh, local products. FarmFlow DE is designed to bridge that gap.

About This Pilot

Help Us Build the Future of FarmFlow DE This version of FarmFlow DE is our pilot marketplace. Rather than waiting until every feature is complete, we're inviting a small group of farms and wholesale buyers to begin using the platform now. Their real-world experience will help us understand how people actually buy and sell surplus produce—not just how we think they will. Throughout this pilot, we're collecting valuable feedback on everything from listing products and communicating with buyers to pricing, transactions, and overall user experience. Every suggestion helps shape the next version of FarmFlow DE. Our goal isn't simply to test software—it's to build a marketplace that truly works for the people who use it.

How FarmFlow Works

FarmFlow makes connecting Delaware farms and wholesale buyers simple. Farms List Produce: Post available surplus produce in minutes. Buyers Browse Listings: View available products, quantities, pickup information, and pricing. Purchase Directly: Complete transactions securely through the marketplace. Coordinate pickup: (or delivery as the platform expands.)

What We're Learning

As we continue this pilot, we're evaluating questions like: Is the buying and selling process intuitive? What information do buyers need before making a purchase? How should farms manage inventory and pricing? What communication tools are most helpful? Which features save time—and which create unnecessary work? What additional tools would make the marketplace even more valuable? These insights will directly guide future development.

What's Coming

The current pilot represents the foundation of FarmFlow DE—not the finished product. As we continue securing funding and incorporating partner feedback, future versions of the platform are planned to include features such as: Dedicated nonprofit and food donation marketplace Delivery coordination and logistics Expanded user registration and verification Buyer and seller dashboards Inventory management tools Advanced search and filtering Order history and reporting Notifications and messaging Enhanced payment and transaction features Additional tools based on feedback from our pilot partners Every improvement will be driven by the needs of Delaware's agricultural community.

Why Your Participation Matters

Our pilot partners are more than early users—they're helping design the future of FarmFlow DE.

By listing products, purchasing locally, testing workflows, and sharing honest feedback, you're helping create a platform built by Delaware's agricultural community, for Delaware's agricultural community.

Your experience today will directly influence how FarmFlow DE serves farms and wholesale buyers for years to come.

Thank you for helping us build something bigger than a marketplace.

Together, we're creating a stronger, more resilient local food system.
